What happens?

You have an option of doing a half day or a full day. You start with a medical questionnaire and a little paperwork before we issue equipment for your size. You have a talk with an instructor to prepare you for the try dive by explaining a little about the equipment, some hand signals and what you might be asked to do while underwater on your try dive.

Qualification

This is purely about the experience and does not come with a qualification at the end. A try dive is sheer fun and that is its own reward.

Typical Day - Try Diving

09 00 h. – Meeting at thе pre-arranged place
09 30 – 10 30 h. – After a little paperwork, we will issue your equipment and give you a briefing about the wearing of the equipment and what it does. We talk a little about breathing underwater, what you will need to do on the try dive and what the instructor will be doing. You'll learn hand singles so you can "talk" underwater.
10 30 - 11 30 h. – Then you go into the water and kneel in the shallow and get used to the strange sensation of having water all around you but still being able to breathe. You can try a few skills and then go for a swim with the instructor to help you. On the try dive you can take as much control as you are comfortable with.
11 30 - 12 30 h. – Short break and preparing for next dive
13 00 - 14 00 h. – We can go diving again
By the end of the try dive you will have enjoyed the experience of using scuba gear.
14 00 - 14 30 h. - Collecting the equipment
14 30 - 15 00 h. – Departure
